Suggestions on fire prevention measures of high-level biosafety laboratories

 Analyses the basic characteristics of HVAC in high-level biosafety laboratories, and presents the fire protection regulations of the current codes for HVAC in high-level biosafety laboratories. Puts forward some suggestions on revision and supplement of relevant provisions of GB 19489-2008 Laboratories—general requirements for biosafety and GB 50346-2011 Architectural and technical code for biosafety laboratories, including the preconditions of setting mechanical smoke exhaust system in biosafety protection zone and fire-resisting damper in air duct of ventilation and air conditioning system, adopting other fire prevention measures synthetically without mechanical smoke exhaust system in biosafety protection zone, and replacing the fire-resisting damper with biological airtight valve authorized by fire department.
